Course Description | This course is the first of two sequential courses that provide an in-depth exploration of human physiology and pathophysiology, with an emphasis on the relationship between health and the alterations leading to disease. Students will focus on the etiology, pathogenic mechanisms, clinical features, and therapeutic interventions of commonly occurring diseases manifesting in specific physiologic processes or organ systems. |
