| Course Description | This course is a reading and writing intensive historical research seminar. In it we will learn about Lagos’s urban history from the eighteenth century to the present using social, spatial, economic, and cultural history approaches. The course examines themes including labor, migration, empire, urban space, and cultural life. Students will conduct original research and complete a history research paper based on primary sources. |
